Nervous System Charts

The Nervous System product consists of a set of four charts showing the major nerves of the upper limb and lower limb. They provide information about which muscles are supplied by major nerves and illustrate the nerves which make up the cervical, brachial, lumbar and sacral plexus.

Accompanying these four charts are two charts which illustrate the origin of the Cutaneous Nerves together with the Dermatome Distribution in the body which is an area of skin supplied by the dorsal (sensory) root of a spinal nerve - with a considerable degree of overlap.

This product links beautifully with our Muscle Chart Series helping people studying anatomy to understand the close relationship between muscle action and nerve innervation of the muscles. Like all our anatomical charts they have been designed in conjunction with an experienced Orthopaedic Consultant and a General Practitioner.
