HUR Air Circuit Fitness Training

The HUR ‘Air Circuit’ can deliver results in a shorter workout, which addresses one of the main reasons for people lapsing from exercise – time. 20 - 30 minute circuits mean more people can be accommodated in less time, improving throughput and income. Circuits can be customised using machines from any product range to suit space and budget requirements.

Every participant has a personal resistance setting in every machine and a personal heart rate target. This enables you to set an optimal resistance in each machine to obtain the best result. By using the heart rate monitor you can also keep your exercise intensity at perfect level, neither too hard nor too easy. The individual setting also means that persons of different levels of fitness can take part in the same training session.

HOW? You do circuit training with the HUR machines and use a heart rate monitor. At the first session you do a simple 5 reps strength test in order to estimate your one rep maximum. Based on this result you get a personal resistance setting in each machine. The resistance used in the circuit depends on the type of session but is usually 20-30% of your estimated one rep max.

Based on the age and level of fitness every participant gets their own heart rate target. Usually the target is in the region of 70% of the estimated heart rate maximum.
