HUR equipment is also perfectly suited for rehabilitation applications. The HUR Rehab Line is an effective and safe equipment series, which works seamlessly with other HUR machines. Rehab Line equipment boast numerous features, which facilitate rehabilitation. Rehabilitation safety is enhanced by, for example, range limiters, and additional supports. If necessary, the exercise of Rehab Line equipment can be set at zero and adjusted ‘steplessly’ to facilitate passive and assisted mobilisation. This allows rehabilitation to begin almost immediately, for example after surgery.

This dual function unit provides for a safe and effective rehabilitation of the extensor and flexor muscle of the knee joint. You can also balance the weight of the leg itself in order to start the rehabilitative process almost immediately after surgery. The range limiters cut out dangerous areas of motion and by using the performance recorder you can test and follow up the progress of the person.

Standard Features

  • Dual Function - Dual function equipment allows the user to work opposing muscle groups, without changing machines. The direction of resistance is changed easily and safely with a simple switch.
  • Range Limiters - Range limiters can be used to limit the range of motion – in flexion and extension. This feature is particularly relevant in rehabilitation applications, or where the user has a long-term impairment.
  • Adjustable Lever Arms - The adjustable lever arms are used to accommodate different limb lengths.
  • Easy Access Hand Grips - Designed for users in rehabilitation and more senior users, the handgrips make it easy to get into and out of the machine.
  • Steplessly Adjustable Back Support - The adjustable back support is a standard feature on many HUR machines. On the Leg Extension/Curl machine, the back support can slide steplessly forward. On other equipment with this feature, the back support can be adjusted into three different positions.
  • Isometric Testing Sensor Attachment - Using a separate Performance Recorder, the machine can measure the isometric force output, on all machines equipped with a sensor attachment (optional). Optional additional software.

Optional Features

  • Neck Cushion – The neck cushion (optional) accommodates for variance in size and posture.
  • Digital Display - The display shows the resistance digitally, counts repetitions, and even shows heart rate when wearing a telemetry chest strap.
  • Smart Card - With the Smart Card option, the system will guide the user through their workout and automatically set the resistance according to the individual programme – and adjust the programme for subsequent use depending on the user’s performance.
